Dan Tasset
Chairman
As our Chairman, Dan leads Nueterra with an entrepreneurial enthusiasm that is highly infectious. Since 1989, Dan has been in the business of working with physicians to develop surgery centers and surgical hospitals. His experience as a trained CPA providing professional and consulting services to physicians gave him real-world insights about the unique business needs of doctors, and inspired him to start Nueterra. And in his approach to every project, he never forgets the basic mission of his Company: to empower physicians. Because Nueterra is a private company, Dan can devote his time to providing strategic direction, as well as motivational leadership and support to the management team. However, he doesn't believe in ivory towers. To keep attune with the challenges and aspirations of healthcare providers, Dan always makes time to visit with Nueterra's physician partners and those considering working with his Company. Dan's expertise in the field is well recognized, and he is frequently sought out as a speaker on the current state and future direction of physician sponsored ambulatory care. (top)
John Schario
CEO
John brings together the extensive resources that allow Nueterra to develop, operate and nurture ambulatory care facilities including surgery centers, surgical hospitals as well as any other ambulatory care facilities created through partnerships. Before joining Nueterra in 2001, John worked for 20 years as an executive with a major Midwestern integrated health system. His managerial background includes the development and operation of surgery centers, imaging facilities, and occupational medicine clinics. John has been instrumental in the development of Nueterra's corporate support services and their successful deployment across diverse business ventures with our physician partners. John has his MBA from Rockhurst University and is a Member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. (top)
Jim Davidson
President, Equity Partners
Jim joined Nueterra in 2005 after a 16-year career in sales management and global marketing with Hitachi Data Systems. His managerial and corporate background includes the direction of solution sales in the fields of technology and professional services. He has overseen revenue and profit growth initiatives with repeated success. Jim has shown an ability to drive innovation and growth within an organization, while protecting inherent principles of customer service and utmost trust. In fact, this is Jim's primary focus at Nueterra. He has served on several company boards where growth in conjunction with company values, has been of paramount concern. Jim earned both his Bachelor and Masters degrees from the University of Missouri. (top)
Dan Saale
Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Dan oversees all of the financial activities of Nueterra. He provides leadership and direction for financial services within each of the Company's physician partnership ventures. Dan initiated his career in audit/assurance before moving on to governmental finance. His career path then took him into corporate financial reporting for a Fortune 500, publicly traded company in the hospitality industry. Before joining Nueterra in 2000, he served as Vice President of Finance of a major Midwestern integrated health system for 14 years. Dan's broad based experience allows him to provide financial direction in both the development and operational aspects of ambulatory care facilities, and their related real estate activities. This includes, but is not limited to, arranging for initial financing of partnerships, as well as the ongoing management of existing ventures' revenue cycles. Dan has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1985 and holds an MBA from the University of Missouri. (top)
David Ayers
President
Surgical Facilities Division
David brings 20 years of experience in developing, building, and managing various types of ambulatory facilities, including surgery, imaging, physical therapy, and urgent care centers. Before joining Nueterra in early 2003, he was vice president of a Fortune 500 company that specialized in ambulatory care product lines. Like all Nueterra executives, David has extensive experience in working with physicians in partnerships, and enhancing these relationships with value-added service. He has contributed heavily to the Company's planning process as it seeks expansion into new business ventures. David is a graduate of the University of Missouri with a degree in Physical Therapy. Nick DeGennaro
Senior Vice President
Business Development
Nick is a senior manager of our business development team. Nick's professional experience includes over 23 years of business development and senior management positions with Fortune 500 companies where he was responsible for the management of large sales teams in geographical territories across the United States. Most recently, he was Vice President, Sales/Marketing & COO with Employer Health Services (EHS,) a division of Health Midwest in Kansas City. While at EHS, he helped guide the business and sales efforts to a market share over 40%. Nick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Colorado State University and MBA from the University of Saint Mary. (top)
Tammy Ham

Surgical Specialty Division
Tammy Ham founded Ambulatory Surgery Assistance, Inc. (ASA) in 1997. ASA developed over 20 centers in 11 different states. Tammy has over 20 years experience in the field of healthcare, including real-world, in-practice experience in clinical nursing, administration and consulting. Tammy's expertise includes project management, process design and implementation, operational efficiency development and conflict resolution. She graduated from Saint Luke's College of Nursing. Tammy is a published author for the ASGE, "The Development of an Ambulatory Endoscopy Center: A Primer" in addition to a nationally requested speaker. She has shared her expertise with audiences at FASA, DDW and SGNA conferences. (top)
Colleen Heeter, R.N., B.S.N.

Operations Design
Colleen Heeter currently oversees the financial, business and clinical components of Operations Design. She previously served as a Group Vice President for Nueterra. Colleen brings impressive in-field expertise to her job. She has more than 10 years of clinical experience coupled with an additional seven years of managing surgical services within the health care industry. Prior to joining Nueterra, Colleen served as Administrator of Shawnee Mission Surgery Center, where she was responsible for the financial administration, operations and human resource allocation, planning and development for outpatient surgery. She received her BS in Nursing from Creighton University. (top)
Denise Mayhew

Branding & Marketing
Denise devotes her time and creativity to seeking new business development and partnership opportunities for Nueterra's 1,200 physician partners. She draws on her 15 plus years of operational management experience in the ambulatory surgery, surgical hospital and acute hospital industry. Denise has also been involved in the development of several surgery centers, specialty hospitals, and various ancillary programs in the healthcare field. A valuable Nueterra team member since 1997, she most recently served as Vice President of Strategic Development for Nueterra with responsibilities for internal audits, business office services, operational policy & procedures, payer contracting, clinical services, risk management, compliance, imaging services, marketing and equipment and materials management. Denise holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. (top)
Kent McAllister
Executive Vice President
Research & Development
Kent brings a wealth of experience to his role in Research & Development. Over the past decade, he has been a corporate director and executive in one of the largest reference laboratories in the country followed by years as an investor and entrepreneur. In his corporate tenure, Kent has also served as the chief information officer for the largest health system in the Kansas City area. In addition, he has held executive roles at healthcare companies where he led hundreds of team members in sales support and technology development and implementation. Kent oversees all Research & Development activities for Nueterra creating new ventures for our partners and an expanded roadmap for Nueterra's future. Kent earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Economics from Oklahoma Christian College, and serves on the Christian Leadership Foundation and other non-profit boards in the area. Michael McCoy

Community Hospital Division
Mike brings more than 20 years of senior operations experience to his leadership role in our hospital division. Prior to joining Nueterra, Mike worked in various settings as a CEO, COO, Senior Vice-President of Operations, and Regional Vice-President. Mike also spent 2 years at IBM as an Associate Partner in the Healthcare Practice. His broad-reaching experience in large urban teaching facilities and smaller rural facilities gives him a well-rounded perspective. In each setting, Mike has always worked closely with Hospitals, Physicians and Physician groups to enhance patient safety, increase quality and improve operational performance. Mike has a BS in Business and Finance from Indiana University and a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Washington University in St Louis. (top)
Lucie Owens, B.S.N., M.P.H.

Project Management
Lucie manages the development process for Nueterra ambulatory surgery centers. She brings over 20 years of ambulatory surgery experience to her role, which includes hands-on experience in ASC administration, knowledge and expertise in facility design and operational start-up for both hospital-based and freestanding ASC projects. An entrepreneur herself, Lucie was the co-founder and principal for two ASC development and management companies prior to joining Nueterra. She served as the Executive Director for these facilities, and was responsible for overseeing start-up, accreditation and licensing, and ultimately day-to-day operations. (top)
Bob Schaal, P.T.

Physical Therapy
Robert "Bob" leads the business development team for Nueterra's physical therapy centers. Prior to joining Nueterra, Bob developed and owned 12 physical therapy centers in the Midwest, and became the largest provider of outpatient physical therapy services in Mid-Missouri. Bob is a registered physical therapist and received his Bachelors of Science. in health services management and Bachelors of Science in health services from the University of Missouri-Columbia. (top)
Kevin Standefer
President, Physical Therapy Division
Senior Vice President, Investment Services
Kevin oversees the development and management of Nueterra's physical therapy centers. He is also our Senior Vice President of Investment Services spearheading Nueterra's financial service activities including mergers, acquisitions, financial forecasting, due diligence and private equity fund activities. As a registered securities principal, Kevin directs all of Nueterra's private securities offerings. Before joining Nueterra in 1999, Kevin had already established a strong financial background in his roles as Senior Vice President of Business Development for one firm and a Senior Internal Auditor for one of the largest publicly-traded healthcare companies in the country. Kevin received his MBA from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. (top)
Kevin Stuckey

Nueterra Real Estate Development, LLC
Kevin brings over thirty years of real estate development experience to Nueterra Real Estate Development, LLC. Kevin is also CEO of KSDT Lodging, LLC, a hospitality development company. From an entrepreneurial beginning in 1976, he has been successfully involved in commercial, hospitality, and healthcare real estate development across the United States. His practical approach in managing challenges and his strength in new concept development enable him to serve as a confident leader and qualified liaison with investors, physicians, and hospital partners. As President and CEO of Nueterra Real Estate Development, Kevin is working to firmly establish the company as an industry leader in providing outstanding real estate development services and solid investment opportunities in various real estate ventures. Kevin graduated from the University of Houston with a B.S. in Business Administration in 1976. (top)
Stephanie Tarry
Senior Vice President
Business Development
Stephanie brings a unique perspective to her senior leadership role of the business development team. Since joining Nueterra in 2000, Stephanie has successfully recruited physician partners and syndicated 15 ambulatory surgery centers and Real Estate Private Placement Offerings, including five joint ventures with hospitals. Stephanie is a licensed securities representative knowledgeable in reg "D" offerings. Her extensive background in finance and accounting allows her to thoroughly understand and explain the financial structure of the partnerships in practical terms. Stephanie began her career with 12 years of banking experience. Prior to joining Nueterra, she served in roles as Director of Treasury for a major Midwestern integrated health system and as the treasurer for the largest school district in Missouri.
