Required Qualifications:

CLINICAL SERVICES MANAGER (RN)

Location: Leawood, KS


Job Description:

 

This position is responsible for providing consultation, guidance and development in the areas of medical staff functions, preoperative nursing services, clinical operations, quality management, accreditation/licensure, and education/development in nationwide ambulatory surgery centers and specialty hospitals. Will establish and implement evidenced-based practices and services in the provision of Nueterra clinical services. Reports to the Vice President of Clinical Services. Located in Leawood, Kansas, a suburb of Kansas City.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Provides assistance to Administrators in establishing a staffing plan for each patient care area and maintaining a qualified staff through in-service training and staff development
  • Assists and /or consults with Facility Administrators to implement a quality management program to include policies, procedures, rules, and recommended practices that meet regulatory and accreditation standards for each facility
  • Assists in providing written policies and procedures for each facility in order to comply with the requirements of regulatory agencies
  • Develops and implement, in cooperation with Administrators, methods to meet the recommended practices required for licensure, certification, and accreditation
  • Assists facilities in obtaining licensing, certification, and accreditation
  • Provides support with medical staff credentialing activities and guidelines
  • Tracks and monitors Clinical Key Indicators and benchmarking activities
  • Conduct facility Corporate Operational Review and Evaluation (CORE)
  • Provides policies and procedures for each facility to comply with the requirements of regulatory agencies


Required Qualifications:

Must be RN with BA or equivalent with an emphasis in Business Administration. Computer literate using Microsoft Office Suite. Minimum five years management experience in an ASC or Surgical Hospital.

HUMAN RESOURCE ASSISTANT

Location: Leawood, KS


Job Description:

Nueterra is a development and management company of surgery centers, physical therapy centers, and specialty and community hospitals.  We have an immediate opportunity for a Human Resource Assistant located in the Leawood, Kansas corporate office.   This position will perform general clerical duties for the HR department. 

  • Processing of new hire and termination paperwork within appropriate systems
  • Working with Finance for payroll processing within defined timelines
  • Assisting HR staff with legal research and revision of policies and procedures
  • Maintaining employee handbook policies including routine edits & updates
  • Assisting with maintaining Workers' Compensation files and reports
  • Assisting with COBRA administration
  • Generating routine correspondence and reports as needed


Required Qualifications:

  • 3 years of administrative/clerical experience, HR specific experience preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Self-directed and motivated to accomplish tasks, meet objectives and committed timelines
  • Able to prioritize competing demands and effectively manage multiple projects
  • Responsive and flexible; able to adapt to changes in the work environment

    OFFICE MANAGER/ACCOUNTANT

    Location: Leawood, KS


    Job Description:

    Responsible for creating monthly financial statements and related schedules as well as monitoring cash flow for the surgical specialty division centers. Manages Accounts Payable, Payroll, and the Human Resource functions for the centers within the division.


    Responsibilities:

    • Leads, guides, and directs Cash Accountant’s and Special Project Coordinator’s day to day activities.
    • Prepares month-end financials and related schedules for select Facilities.
    • Reviews financial statements for Centers produced by Cash Accountant.
    • Reviews and oversees Facility accounts payable, processed by direct reports.
    • Manages each Centers’ cash, providing feedback and communication to GVP’s as necessary
    • Responsible for creating and maintaining all general ledger supporting documentation, subsidiary ledgers and reconciliations.
    • Working with GVP’s, prepares quarterly Center investor distribution calculations resulting in check and letter creation and mailing.
    • Coordinates preparation of Personal Property tax returns and other tax reporting requirements ensuring deadlines are met for filing.
    • Perform employee notifications of insurance changes (i.e., rate increases, open enrollment), vsp calculations.
    • Supports the philosophy, goals, objectives and initiatives of Nueterra
    • Healthcare’s Surgical Specialty Division.


    Required Qualifications:

    BS Accounting required. Minimum of five years experience in financial reporting, general ledger, and month end closing. Experience in supervising others desired but not required. Experience with human resources, payroll and benefit administration desired but not required. Should have good working knowledge of general payroll, benefits and HR processes.
