As a part of The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act that was passed last year, medical records must be electronic by 2014. To meet that deadline, Nueterra began evaluating a number of EMR systems and hosting platforms. Nueterra selected Mavicor because the partnership will reduce implementation costs while creating greater control over updates and versions. This will result in lower EMR costs for Nueterra facilities.
