Nueterra Healthcare, a company that creates long-term partnerships with health systems and physician groups to develop innovative strategies to improve the delivery of healthcare services, has announced the promotion of Marc Goff to chief operating officer.

"Since joining Nueterra Healthcare last year Marc has made significant contributions to the continued success of the company," said CEO David Ayers. "As we continue to refine our corporate structure, Marc's move into this new position will allow her to have an even greater impact on our operations and profitability."

Dan Tasset, chairman of Nueterra Healthcare and Nueterra Companies, said that Goff has been a great addition to the company's leadership team. "I am confident that in her new role Marc will bring increased focus to the operational excellence and innovation that defines Nueterra Healthcare," Tasset said.

Goff joined Nueterra in 2010 as a group vice president was quickly promoted to a senior vice president of operations position. During the past year she has been responsible for the management and operations for numerous Nueterra Healthcare facilities across the country.

"I appreciate the opportunity that Nueterra Healthcare has given me during this year past year and look forward to this exciting new role," Goff said. "We have a great team of experienced healthcare professionals who provide operational leadership for our facilities and I am proud to lead that team."

Goff has more than 30 years of diverse health care experience, which includes acute care surgical operations, and management of ambulatory surgery centers, imaging centers, rehabilitation centers and specialty hospitals. Her experience spans from the director of surgical services at a large medical center, to holding a senior level executive position, managing more than 70 facilities for both private and New York stock exchange companies. She has focused on increasing operational efficiencies in all aspects of hospital and ambulatory surgical arenas while understanding synergistic physician relationships are essential to successful operations. Goff graduated from Mercy School of Nursing.
