Nueterra Healthcare Names Jon Friesen as CFO

LEAWOOD, Kan. - Nueterra Healthcare, a strategic development partner for health systems and physicians nationwide, has named Jon Friesen as chief financial officer. Friesen has more than 17 years of executive leadership experience in various healthcare ventures.

Most recently, he was the founder of Physicians Accountable Care of America, which develops and manages ACOs. Prior to that, Friesen served as president of a major surgery center management company and CFO of its corporate parent. He has also served as CFO for a large national managed care organization with membership in excess of 350,000 and annual revenues of over $600 million. Additionally, as former president and CEO of a $100 million dollar provider-sponsored health care organization, Friesen was responsible for long-range strategic planning and overall direction of the organization.

“Jon brings tremendous health care financial and strategic planning expertise to Nueterra," said Nueterra Healthcare CEO David Ayers. “His experience will be invaluable as we expand the breadth and depth of services Nueterra offers to our partners."

Friesen is a graduate of Friends University with a double major in accounting and business administration. Upon graduation, Friesen joined the international accounting firm of KPMG Peat Marwick. In addition to his undergraduate degree, Friesen is a graduate of the Philip Crosby Quality College for Total Quality Management and holds certificates in process improvement, problem solving and team building techniques.
