Nueterra Healthcare names Jon Friesen as its first CFO

Nueterra Healthcare LLC has named health care veteran Jon Friesen as its first CFO. The Leawood-based company, one of the nation's leading developers and managers of physician-owned surgical facilities, announced the hire Thursday.

Friesen has 17 years of executive leadership experience in health care. He most recently was CEO of Physicians Accountable Care of America, which manages accountable care organizations. Before that, he spent eight years as president and CFO of Foundation Surgery Affiliates, which manages surgery centers. He also served as CFO for a $600 million managed care group and CEO of a $100 million provider-sponsored health care organization.

"Jon brings tremendous health care financial and strategic planning expertise to Nueterra," Nueterra Healthcare CEO David Ayers said in a release. "His experience will be invaluable as we expand the breadth and depth of services Nueterra offers to our partners."
